Feels and Finishes
Before designing each toy, we ask what kind of sensation we want to deliver, how it will fit in the user’s body or hand, and how it should feel to help facilitate that. Every density, finish, and form are deliberately chosen to enhance your unique experience. Tantus’s design process starts with pleasure in mind, and we know “pleasure” can mean a different experience for every person. Each user’s experience level, size preference, and preference for density and flexibility all demand unique designs.
Tantus’ proprietary 100% Ultra-Premium Silicone, platinum cured for safety, offers six distinct densities paired with expertly chosen finishes and forms to deliver targeted pleasure for everybody. Our curated designs—from beginner friendly to advanced XL collections—ensure you find the perfect toy for your desires.
Below is a guide to each of Tantus’s densities and finishes to help determine which toy feel is right for you.
DENSITY
Test density by squeezing the shaft one finger-width above the base for an accurate feel, as weight and girth can affect perception.
Super Soft: Spongy yet shape-retaining, like squeezing a dinner roll. Gently presses against tissue for a soft, beginner-friendly experience.
On The Go Packer
Soft: Squishy, like pressing sourdough bread. Offers a gentle give, ideal for comfortable play.
Medium: Slightly firm, like an orange peel. Provides balanced pushback with a subtle give for versatile stimulation.
Firm: Hard with a trace of give, like an apple. Delivers steady pressure for targeted sensations.
Dual Density: Mimics a bio-penis with a soft, compressible outer layer and solid core for a realistic, satisfying feel.
FINISHES
Satin: Soft and smooth, ideal for beginners, requiring moderate lube.
Glossy: Polished and slick, best for beginners but needs more frequent lubrication.
Matte: Grips lube better, enhancing glide for intermediate to advanced toys.
Matte and Glossy: Polished corona with a matte shaft (mimicking a bio-penis) channels lube for smoother, longer play.
Tantus produces a wide variety of silicone options because the path to pleasure varies for everyone. New users may want a softer, more flexible silicone to get used to penetration, then a firmer silicone for heavier G-spot and P-spot stimulation once they’ve grown accustomed. Or they may enjoy the firmness to start, then want a softer silicone as they experiment with bigger sizes. Shop some of our favorites and experience the full range of sensations that Tantus Ultra-Premium Silicone offers.
