PEGGING 101

What is Pegging?

Pegging refers to anal penetration of a partner using a harness and strap-on toy, or a ‘strapless’ strap-on.

WHY IT'S AMAZING

As the Receiver:

Being pegged can be super sexy and satisfying, both physically and psychologically. Pegging stimulates your highly erogenous anus and/or prostate while allowing you to relax and focus completely on your own pleasure. Your butt will thank you!

As the Pegger:

Pegging can be highly erotic with aspects of dominance, power, intimacy, and strength in a role you might not normally be able to fulfill. Vibration in the harness or a double-ended toy like the Feeldoe can add physical pleasure to an already heady experience.

HOW TO START

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

  • Warm, damp towel. Anal play, like most sexual activities, is bound to get messy.
  • Plenty of lube. The anus is not self-lubricating. Be safe; lube up.
  • Gear: Harness & Warm Up Dildo
  • Easiest Gear: Bend Over Beginner Kit, with Harness & 2 Beginner Dildos

(Already into Pegging? Try a toy designed for pegging like the Slow Drive Long, Sport Long, Dual Density Dildos, or a strapless strap-on.)

Step 2: Communication

Discuss with your partner. What experience does each of you have with pegging, or anal play at all? What excites you about it? What hesitations do you have? How can your partner help you enjoy the experience the most? If you haven’t had the safer sex talk yet, what sexual health information do you need your partner to be aware of, and what safer sex practices do each of you need to use?

Step 3: Get Pegging

Begin slowly by breathing and relaxing the muscles around the anus. Warm up first by rubbing small, gentle circles to continue the release.
Apply lube - the butt won’t lubricate itself!
The Receiver can put the toy in themselves first to get used to the sensation, and even be in control of the pace and rhythm, by bringing themselves to the Pegger.

Step 4: Aftercare

Check-in with yourself and your partner. Pegging can be a rewarding but draining activity. What does each of you need to be more grounded, safe, and satiated?

Pro Tip: Have clean-up towels handy, before you start. A little mess is normal, and being prepared will keep it from disrupting your sexy time.
